5. Sophomores should start your college resume now!

- Add your paid jobs, during summer, weekends, or school breaks
- Remember any awards, certificates, or special achievements

6. Use family vacations to think about colleges.

8. Parents, do your homework now.

11. Freshmen and sophomores, start gradually to prepare for college entrance exams (SAT & ACT).

12. Students, consider a “gap year” before going off to college.
